How does scoring work?
Each product is judged on three things: its ingredients, the additives it contains, and how heavily it's processed. Artificial colors, sweeteners, and other flagged additives pull the score down, and the more processed a product is, the more it counts against it. We weigh all of it against stricter international standards to land on a single number from 0 to 100.
What is the Protein Ratio?
It shows how much of a snack's calories actually come from protein, so you can see real protein value at a glance instead of just reading grams.
What do the score colors mean?
Green is excellent, then good, then fair, and a warmer tone for low. The band label and the color always match the number.

How do I scan a product?
Tap Scan in the bottom bar and point your camera at the barcode. You'll get the Purity Score, macros, and any ingredient flags in a few seconds.

We add products all the time, but the catalog doesn't cover everything yet. Send us the barcode and we'll work on adding it.
My scan won't read.
Make sure the barcode is well lit and hold steady for a moment. Glare and creased packaging can make a barcode harder to read.

How do I set my preferences?
Open your Profile and tap any allergen, ingredient, or dietary rule to turn it on or off. Your picks update to respect them.
How do I manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled through your Apple or Google account settings, where you can view, change, or cancel anytime.
SAFETY
Can I rely on Purity for allergies?
You can set your allergens and we'll respect them in your picks, but always check the product label. Allergen data can be incomplete and isn't a substitute for the packaging.
